The Barrowfields lie by Narrowcliff above Lusty Glaze, towards Porth. Three prehistoric burial mounds survive from a larger cemetery. The name therefore remembers a funerary landscape, rather than just a stretch of open grass. The 2003 Cornwall and Scilly Urban Survey also records cultivation earthworks and the possibility of buried remains beyond the visible mounds.
