Documented lost chapel near St Carantoc, with its precise footprint unresolved.
St Ambrusca’s was a chapel near Crantock’s parish church. Historic England’s research record reports its ruins in a 1727 property record. A scholarly study places an indulgence for visitors in 1437. Its exact footprint remains unresolved: a medieval building found in 2023 has not been identified as this chapel, and the visible Beach Road well feature is a separate, later memorial or replacement.
