Tregunnel was a schooner built in 1858, associated with the Gannel’s shipbuilding history. Royal Museums Greenwich holds a photograph showing the vessel at moorings in Newquay Harbour in the 1890s.

The image connects a named vessel with a working port, giving a more specific view of the trade than an anonymous picture of sailing ships. Tregunnel the vessel must be distinguished from Tregunnel the shipbuilding locality. The museum photograph is a historical source; its presence in an online catalogue does not itself grant permission to reproduce it.
