Cocks Viaduct carried the Chacewater–Newquay railway across the valley near Perranporth. Cornwall’s Historic Environment Record describes a structure 89 yards long.

The viaduct helps locate the railway in a landscape where much of the line has changed since passenger trains stopped in 1963. It is an individual structure, not a map pin for the whole branch or for Perranporth station. Its recorded dimensions and location are useful anchors for reading historic maps.
