East Wheal Leisure was a copper mine east of Perranporth, separately recorded from the town’s Wheal Leisure. Output is recorded for 1833, 1851 and 1852.

The name is a useful guide to the district’s crowded mining geography. East, North and New Wheal Leisure identify different workings, rather than successive names for one mine. The map uses the Geological Survey’s locality; the town’s main mining story explains the wider setting.
