North Wheal Leisure was a mine in the Perranporth district, also associated with the name Wheal Catherine. Its documentary trail includes mineral statistics, share listings and Duchy accounts from the 1840s and 1850s.

Those records put a business behind the mine name: investors, mineral rights and the expense of operating a working. It is distinct from Wheal Leisure in the town and New Wheal Leisure at Bolingey. The separate entries help untangle that small but busy mining district.
