Goonbell Halt was a passenger stop on the Chacewater–Perranporth–Newquay branch in the St Agnes district. It was separate from St Agnes station and from the nearby Wheal Liberty viaduct.

Small halts formed part of the local network through the countryside, while the larger stations handled a broader range of railway activity. The branch lost its passenger service in February 1963. The halt’s place in the route is documented, but a surviving place-name alone does not establish the precise position of its former platform.
