North Retallack was a lead working north of Treamble, within the Great Retallack sett. A sett was the area over which mineral rights were granted; an individual working could have its own name within it.

A lead return is recorded for 1869. That gives a firm point in its activity without supplying a complete opening-and-closure history. Its mapped locality helps place this smaller operation beside Great Retallack, Treamble and the Great Perran Iron Lode.
