A recorded grain mill in the inland valleys near Holywell and the Perran district.
Treamble had a post-medieval corn mill: a place where grain was ground, recorded on nineteenth-century mapping. It helps explain the working landscape around Holywell before and alongside the mineral railway. It is separate from Ellenglaze’s recorded wheelpit, whose precise mill function remains unresolved.
