Orientation for the inland place behind Holywell, keeping separate features distinct.
Ellenglaze belongs to the inland landscape near Cubert and Holywell Bay. Local walking-history records describe a wheelpit and waterwheel at the manor as evidence of a former mill. A separate lead mine is also documented in the area. Their proximity does not establish that the wheel powered the mine, or what the mill processed. An 1842 estate survey survives in the county archive and may help clarify the layout.
