Mithian Halt was a local passenger stop on the railway between Chacewater, Perranporth and Newquay. It belonged to the rural stretch north of St Agnes.

The halt appears in the branch’s railway records, alongside several separately recorded bridges in the Mithian area. Those bridges help trace the alignment, but none can simply stand in for the halt itself. The line’s passenger service ended in February 1963. Its history connects the village landscape with the larger story of how the railway served scattered communities.
