Peru Mine was a lead working in the Perranzabuloe district, north of Duchy Peru. Despite their similar names, the two are recorded as separate mine localities.

Peru belongs to the dense inland group around Treamble. Its position helps explain why a map of this district contains so many mine names within a small area: neighbouring workings could have different commodities and separate histories. The link to Duchy Peru leads to a different site, not a second name for this one.
