DMI
Remote video production and continuing creative support for a Canadian communications team.

A first video became a trusted working relationship.
Starting with a small commission
DMI first brought me in for an internal corporate video. The team was pleased with the result, and that first assignment developed into further video production and wider creative work.
DMI Peace River Pulp Division — internal communications film
An internal communications film, edited and produced from footage supplied by the client.
Making practical information work on screen
One of the larger projects was an onboarding video for new employees. It walked people through the site, explained where to go and what to do, and covered practical orientation, health and safety, and fire risks.
The footage was filmed in Canada and supplied to me in England. I used Adobe Premiere and After Effects to edit and produce the finished video, working remotely with the client throughout. Further commissions included video, branding and other communications material.
Someone the team could call
The relationship mattered as much as any individual film. My main contact, Amber Armstrong, could get in touch with a new brief or a last-minute request knowing I already understood the business.
That familiarity made the work easier to get moving. The initial commission had become a dependable source of creative support, with one person taking responsibility for delivery.
Outstanding! Truly - outstanding. The highest quality, the understanding of producing a video with little direction but with such insight that we are so impressed!!
