Mandarina by Skunk

Brand identity, website, print, promotional films and social campaigns for a premium unisex fragrance with an unconventional story.

A distinctive fragrance. A complete brand presence.

Giving the brand its own character

Mandarina by Skunk needed to feel like a premium fragrance while keeping the wit and curiosity of its name. Its inspiration came from the scent of the Mandarina cannabis plant, so the presentation had to handle an unusual story with confidence.

I developed the brand identity and carried it through the website, printed material and promotional films. The aim was a recognisable character that worked wherever someone first encountered the product.

02 / The work

Taking the idea into the real world

My work covered branding, illustration, graphic design, website design and development, video and audio production, and SEO consultancy. The brochures and films gave the business different ways to introduce the fragrance, while the website brought the brand and its product story together.

I also developed the Facebook and Instagram campaign and a brand ambassador programme, extending the work into the practical business of building an audience.

Keeping the whole picture together

Working across identity, digital, print and promotion meant the brand could keep a consistent voice as the campaign developed. The project brought together the creative decisions and the tools needed to put them into use: a website, sales material, films and an approach to social marketing.
